Got into NUS. Received the admit offer on March 13. Was interviewed on Dec 6th and subsequently wait listed. Feels great to receive the admit finally.

Interview debrief :

1 Elevator pitch.
2. Why MBA now?
3. Why NUS and Why Singapore?
4. Seems you are interested in strategy. What strategy books have you read?
5. What is the state of health care in India? why do you think many doctors go abroad?
6. What is your opinion on the FIFA world cup 2022 being held in the winter in Qatar.?

All in all, very conversational. had a good experience.

Congratulations ssanjay!
I had my interview yesterday...
debrief :
1 Elevator pitch.
2 Why NUS and Why Singapore?
3 Question about a career switch I had made a couple of yrs ago
4 Any questions for us?
It lasted about 20 minutes but felt much shorter than that.. very casual relaxed chat.

Now in 'Hurry up and wait' mode :)

Hi Tambi,

I too had my interview yesterday. It was taken by a Strategy prof Mr. Ishtiaq Mahmood and One member from the Adcom (I dont remember the name of the lady)
Herez the debrief:
1. How many Korean Companies in Gurgaon (As I work in a korean company)
2. Tell us about yourself and about your profession
3. Why NUS and Singapore?
4. Whats unique about you?
5. A question on the essays. Precisely on the NUS Mission essay.
6. What difficulties I am expecting to face in Singapore
7. My short term and long term plans
8. Why consulting and dream companies.
9. Do u want to work in India only or are you flexible with location.
10. Any questions for us?

All in all it was a discussion kind of thing. Too much relaxed. Eased out!!

Hello. Is anyone aware of how long we can stay on the student pass in Singapore after graduation? How long to get the work permit etc

Hey guys

I need some help in my pending decision.
I have WL from NUS and confirmation from Said (Oxford).
I am guy from India, looking forward to create an entrepreneurial venture in future. I am open to all places/fields.
According to you, if I get through NUS/NTU what will be a better choice for me? Singapore or Oxford?

Awaiting help..

Thanks

Depends on your goals. I think NUS is not that much into Entrepreneurship and all. Its a school with Finance and Consulting as kinda flagship roles to offer post MBA.

I dont have any idea about Oxford except that it is also one of the best schools.

Lots of factors are there.... Money, where you want to work, your alignment with your goals etc.

Both schools have good reputation worldwide. I think its only you who has to take a call and trust me, the more you will ask people the more you will get confused.!!

Make some flowchart with your priorities and then tick mark what matters to you most. I hope you wud be able to find an answer soon.

Aditya

Yup. Hard luck. And thank you, I'm going Georgia Tech. Couldn't afford Rotman without any scholarship.

Hi Rangs641,

Can you please share your profile and GMAT score.

I would be applying to Rotman this year and hence just want to gauge my chances.
