Hi,
Thanks for posting and sharing. Your scenario is less-typical so the explaining is definitely needed
and you'll find you'll need to do so if and when you apply to b-school or grad school as well. If I'm following correctly, you don't have full-time post-undergraduate work experience, correct? In that scenario, the programs that are more typical full-time MBA programs will be very very tough to get into... especially a program like INSEAD for ex.... but most of them have 5-6 years of full time experience on average. The 2+2 may be more in-line, just keep in mind they are extremely selective so also not a sure thing. You could consider other options too.... like a Masters in Management from a reputable university, either US or European (LBS recently launched a global MiM for example).... or wondering if working a couple of years to get that full time experience is of interest and then apply.
Not sure you'll need the GRE as well if you are happy with the GMAT score?? But for either, scores will last 5 years. And schools will take the highest score.
In terms of involvement, you could look into community and other activities even now to improve that aspect of your profile. The better you can explain your interest in the activity/ies, and your passion etc, the stronger the impact will be. Also showing some leadership in the activity is a plus.
Good luck on the decisions and GMAT and next steps. Let us know how we can help!
