Follow the money to ASU. Enjoy the sunshine. Network and recruit where you want to live.

Don't let a bunch of opinion makers at USNWR who rank schools (but then don't have to pay to attend them) and all the rankings-crazed people on this website make you feel like you have to uproot to Indiana to have a better education/network/life. At ASU you can get a great education and you'll graduate with the same degree.

The truth is, in my opinion, (or what I feel like I have discovered over the last year in B-School) is that whether you're at Harvard or a state school, the vast majority of what you'll get out of an MBA will be what you put into it. The brand you wear on your school sweatshirt isn't nearly as important as we all make it out to be during the application cycle. No need to suffer with burdensome debt after the fact if you don't have to.

All that said, I have nothing bad to say about Notre Dame. It's a great school with a lot to offer. It just seems like from what you've described this should be an easy choice in favor of ASU.

Good luck with the decision!

BTW...in your poll, I voted for W.P. Carey. That's ASU's school.

Shouldn't it be ASU vs. ND?

Or W.P. Carey vs. Mendoza?

Might need to fix that. :)
