Hi,
I have been prepping for GMAT for 2-3 months whilst working full time.
6 weeks ago I started taking CATS. Scores were 670,700, 680, 660 (veritas, manhattan)
My test is in 8 days and for the last week i have been scoring 640, 600, 620, (manhattan and
og)
My usual strength - quant is declining and I don't know what to do. this is partially down to some hard q's, carelessness, missing an easy trick in the question etc.
I have worked hard and improved verbal from 27 to 37-38 and seem to plateau here. have significantly improved SC.
Quant scores jump all over from 51, 41,46, and now last test 37.
I have 1 day to change my date without losing all my money.
I have not done as much prep on AWA or IR as i would like, i know they are less important than other sections but i don't feel strong at all in them.
I have an
error log, have been through
OG verbal (this helped significantly) and quant (although I found the quant very easy compared with actual CATS)
Should I delay? I wont be able to take the test again for 5 months due to other commitments so will need to repeat my prep no doubt.
Target score was 720 which i feel is unrealistic now.
I previously took the GMAT 2 years ago without much time and while working full time and scored 640.
bb Bunuel ChrisLelei really utilise your posts - any advice?
I am trying not to panic but is creeping up.
NOTE: after writing this post this morning i have just scored 730 on
OG 1. Q49, V40. Previous tests were a mix of Kaplan and
MGMAT. My previous experience of sitting gmat pitched my score exactly at
MGMAT testing level.
Thanks,
