Hi VT1991,
Thanks for the comprehensive and well-written profile! Makes it much easier for me to assess.
You look strong for the schools you're applying to. I might wish your GMAT were a bit higher -- 720 would be significantly stronger than 710 in your demographic -- but your clear career focus and strong academic performance thus far will help you a lot.
In terms of school choices, you're looking good here, but narrow it down to no more than four schools, and research those schools WELL, focusing on outreach to students and alumni. Given your energy industry goals, McCombs should definitely stay on your short-list -- be sure you know who is likely to hire you post-MBA and target schools that will connect you with these companies in particular.
Your concerns are also well-researched: compensate for your lack of current community involvement, which is understandable given your work situation, by highlighting leadership roles in university. Use your resume and the online applications to display strengths that don't come up in the essay questions. A strong leadership history in university extracurriculars will also help balance out your lack of promotions in the workplace so far, but again, be sure that any team leadership roles you have at work are clearly highlighted in your resume and, wherever possible, in essays.
Good luck! You sound like a great candidate.
