Hello,
I am an Indian male(26 years old) working in IT(both development and operations). will have 5 years of IT experience by the time I'll join. Prior to this I had my own "content development/ SEO optimization" start-up with a friend of mine. That start-up is still there and is doing okay. I still act as an advisor/consultant to my start up. I left t it to further pursue my interest in technology. I was with the start-up for an year. So effectively 6 years of experience. I have worked in three big cities of India during my experience at TATA but no international experience.
all my IT experience has been in single firm - TATA but worked with clients from different domains - Media, Pharma and technology.
Recognitions - Rising star, thee times "Star of the Month"
I completed my engineering from a mid tier university with a first division degree. (No idea how can I convert that to gpa, considering all the gpa calculating methodology it would lie somewhere between 2.7-3.3).
Extra Curricular:
- Part of volleyball team in during High school and college
- Led discipline committee during events and fests
- Participated in b-plan competition by eureka, by IIT-Bombay
- Volunteered at organizer and participant level for Tata's own NGO
- Providing monetary help to CRY(Child rights and You)(a NGO for upliftment of homeless and underprivileged children) and Green-Peace
- Serve at local Gurudwara(Church for sikhs, though i am not a sikh) every weekend. (still do it)
- volunteered as a technical associate at an online multiplayer gaming portal for "Age of Empires" (Yep, people still play this EPIC game)
- Started a club named "GEEX"(as in geeks, nerds), organized various events and quizzes under GEEX banner
- Like reading and learning about dreams, dream psychology, dream interpretation .. and also about Greek mythology.
I would love a collaborative and outgoing environment in my School. The schools where I will have a lot of activities to do and be a part of social changes.
Here is the division I made for myself according to my research:
As per difficulty to get in for me - Ross, Duke Fuqua, UCLA, McCombs, UNC Kenan Flagler, Kelly
My priority - Ross, Duke, UNC, UCLA, Mccombs, Kelly
apart from all this -- > I got rejected from UNC last year. and also I will get PR for Australia in the last quarter of this year and most probably will cerebrate new year in Melbourne. Sole reason for this step is to add diversity to my profile.
Goal: My goal is to get into Technology Consulting (I have worked with different technologies from both operations and development side of IT, so this makes perfect sense for me I guess) at the likes of Deloitte, Accenture.

My own analysis of myself as a third person:
GMAT - 700, hmm .. Indian scoring 700 at gmat .. nothing new here .. lets move to next part of application
start-up - thats interesting .. and its still going on
IT experience - yeah yeah .. you are Indian, you'll have IT experience, TATA is a pretty decent brand but hey same company from past 4 years? really? that doesnt look good.
Undergraduate - meh ... average gpa .. nothing much to see here
Extra curriculars - woah! .. This looks terrific.
Ross, Duke, UCLA are gonna be tough for you.
UNC and Mccombs - you have very good chances.
Kelly - should get into this for sure if application is decent.

What are your views on my profile?
What other schools I can target with my profile, ambitions and fit?
I would love to hear the brutal truth, so tell me what schools should I totally stop thinking about int he list?
any other advice is welcome too .. Thanks in advance
