It made the most sense to put it in now since I have other R1 applications due throughout September and I will be away on business in October.

Can it be submitted just a week before ED deadline (7th Oct) and still get the decision on rolling basis within 6 weeks as CBS says?

I would consider Harvard and Wharton if I am not accepted to Columbia. But CBS is my clear first choice, so hopefully I won't have to worry about applying anywhere else.

Wow! It took only only 9 days or 7 business days to get an invite? That's extremely fast!

In the same boat. I've already moved on and if any positive news does come, it'll just be a pleasant surprise. However, rlr2009's timeline should be encouraging(?) in that it isn't exactly 3 weeks for everyone, so perhaps we should wait the full 6 weeks - not getting my hopes up though.

A lot of travels happening for the adcom these days. I guess the timeline won't be too consistent.

for those who have been admitted and accepted: have you received any news from CBS after the deposit? i.e: to-do list, bg check, etc? Is the admitted students site working?
