Ooo, thanks for updating. This gives me a totally different perspective on this drip scheme Booth has going on. It must really be a random drip (probably, as someone stated before, when the individuals looking at their respective application stacks finish). Now there is literally no reason to look at the clock. Won't stop me from refreshing my Apple Watch every five seconds.

same here. I refresh my email every 5 mins. cannot focus on anything else.

So no one in GMATClub got an invite today?

Only thing thing I got was a Booth message... to join a live chat with students.

Seems to be a common issue across schools. It is not really that they should stop sending such messages - the events advertised can be helpful / cool, but the messages could be better marked. Something like "Event information from Chicago Booth" instead of "Chicago Booth Full-Time Admissions".

Agree. I also just like blaming them for stuff. Makes the waiting easier somehow.

I just opted out from their advertising email list. If I receive anything from them again, it'll be either good news or bad news.

Couldn't agree more. I keep jumping up every time they send an email – I'm going to be a wreck by 10/16.

Yes, I believe this behavior on the part of Booth violates the 8th amendment.

Cannot agree more. especially the wording "Admission" appears in the subject. They could use "Join us for the MBA online chat" thing instead.

I don't know of any school that sends invites over weekends.
