Hi.

Well it depends on which colleges you want to target. Moving into finance post MBA would be tad difficult since you come from a project management background in Real estate field. But dont get disheartened and try to increase your score somewhere around 710-720 to have a realistic shot at decent schools.

Lastly, with absolute humbleness, I would like to mention that this is not the forum for profile evaluation. This particular forum is specifically for Olin business school and the related events. You can check out Gmatclub's profile evaluation forum for your future queries. You can also get in touch with consultants like MBA decoder, Mansie diwan consulting etc on pagalguy.co. They will surely give you a thorough review of your profile for free and would be able to answer your queries in a proper manner.

I am pretty sure he is asking specifically for Olin....or else why would he post it here? He also did not ask which schools he should apply to......


Back to OP, you should definitely retake the GMAT. 670 is, just to be completely honest, simply not enough for Olin, especially if you are from an over-represented group that traditionally has insanely high GMAT score, not to mention Olin's average is just shy of 700. No one knows what your GPA means, so please convert it to a 4.0 scale so people can understand it.

My feeling is telling me we will get invites this week!

My feeling had been right one time out of the last 4, so it is not all that good lol but meh, like I said earlier, I do not think Olin is anyone's top choice here anyway. Cheers!

Any news guys? This is really strange. I hope there're not experimenting something new this year. Ross had a deadline of 5th Oct and even they are sending out invites today. Whats wrong with Olin? Correct me if I'm wrong but schools normally do not take a month before they start sending out interview invites or do they?

Got a brilliant idea. We should coordinate with other schools' applicants in the future. If we are not applying to those schools, we will call and ask for them, and in return they will do the same for us. I think it is the only way lol

Here we go everyone, you're welcome. Basically wait for another two weeks since it seems like they have not even started reading the applications.
