Hi! I am just wondering what my options are or what other people would do in my situation.
I took the GMAT yesterday and I got a 700.
Quant: 42
Verbal: 44
IR: 8
Total: 700
AWA: don't have score yet but 6 on GRE when I took it 3 years ago so I am guessing it won't be bad.
GPA 3.5
I am a kindergarten teacher in Kansas City. I want to go to business school and I want to learn about Marketing. I have work experience only in teaching kindergarten for 3 years.
I was only planning on applying to my local school. Now I am wondering if I should try to apply at a few better schools. I don't know if I have a chance because I have no business experience. If I do...what schools might be the best that I have a chance at? Any advice about what I should to would be great!
Maggie,
I would be happy to help you. If you want to send me a quick note with some more details, that would be great. Teachers do get into business school, but in order to determine just how high you should reach, we should discuss further.
scott@personalmbacoach.com- Where did you go to college?
- What extra-curricular activities do you have? Current leadership positions?
- What do you want to do after business school?
- Have you been involved in / led any initiatives at school outside of your role?
Best,
Scott
