Anyone, who interviewed with John Hughes, received any update?

Hi Guys, Congratulations to all of them who got the admission offers and to those also who got interview invites.
I applied in Round two to Kenan-Flagler and got an interview call last week on Friday. I thought an in-person interview would be the best bet because that way I can be more conversational without worrying about internet connectivity issues.

I am based out of Mumbai and have already sent an e-mail request to one of the Kenan-Flagler alum to act as my interviewer.
I haven't yet heard back from the alum and it appears that not many people go for this option and instead schedule a skype interview.

Can anyone tell me the trade-off between skype interview and alumni interview, because I will have to soon schedule a skype interview if I don't hear back from the Mumbai-based alumni.

I was in the same boat as you in November. I had requested in-person interviews from alums based in Bangalore and Delhi (total 3 alums) but never heard back from anyone. I ended up doing Adcom interview on the last day. IMO, Adcoms interviews are more professional and they'll follow the time limits more rigorously. If you can take care of infrastructure issues at your end, it should be more or less same either way. Good Luck!

Admitted, got the call Saturday afternoon and just got the email now. Anyone see anything about scholarships in the applicant portal? (I dont)

Full disclosure: I did receive a phone call from my interviewer on Friday night (three days ago) letting me know I had been accepted. My interviewer asked me not to post anything about my acceptance on social media until the results were released Monday.

Where can we find about scholarships?

In with a merit fellowship!!! OMG I am lost for words! UNC just made my day with this official email...Dont know about the exact amount of my fellowship but Im thrilled nevertheless.

Fellowship link is there, but it is all mystery. Waiting eagerly for the email
