Hello,
Thanks for posting! So it sounds like you've definitely developed some strong project management, analytical, and quantitative analysis skills in your work in the construction industry, and with slightly fewer applicants coming from that industry overall you can aim to highlight the industry expertise you might bring in to classroom discussions perhaps. Your startup experiences have likely taught you a lot as well and the NGO involvement is a plus. You also likely learned a lot from your family company, and your blogging and writing indicate that you likely have strong communication skills. I would likely aim for schools in the 15-30 rankings give or take, with your GMAT and profile for better chances, but there are many factors to consider when choosing schools so let us know if you had other thoughts or specific areas you are looking at. Good luck!
Hey thanks for your reply. Can you please suggest some good names which I should try given my GMAT score and work ex. Also I would like to add I wish to switch into Consulting From my Operations/Supply management field. I aspire to work with Biggies like Mckinsey, BCG and PWC, learn more about decision making, learn more about different industries and in long term aspire to start my own venture- given my continual interests in that.
Kindly suggest me some good colleges where I can fit. I am doubtful taking into account my GMAT score and under graduation percentage, thinking of taking TOEFL inorder to compensate my low verbal score in GMAT. (V-29, Q-50) Need tips.
