Calling all CBS Applicants - (2016 Intake) Class of 2018

bSchool2018, I work as an MBB consultant for almost 4 years. Difficult to say why I got rejected. But not applying in early decision does influence a lot the final result, I guess.
Some of my colleagues (from the Brazilian office where I work) applied in early decision and got approved. So, when it was my time, there were already several people with similar background as mine already matriculated. This decreases the chances a lot.
The MBA application is not just about stats. It's very subjective and the schools want to fulfill their classes with a variety of people that covers different backgrounds.

I got disappointed with this rejection, but that's life.

Hi guys,
My application is almost complete, and I'll be applying very close to the Jan deadline. I seem to be the only one on this group who is applying despite being a college senior, but I think I have a very good reason why I want to do an MBA at this stage, especially at CBS. I believe my GPA (8/10 after graduating from a very challenging institute and course) and GMAT are not outstanding compared to the others from my demographic, but seems to be good enough compared to the average CBS profile. Overall, even if I get an interview call I'd be delighted and it would give me a confidence boost that I'm heading in the right path.
I'm just checking in to see if there are any other college seniors who have already applied and if yes, the feedback they've received. Congrats to the applicants who have already received an invite.

Dinged. I am so disappointed, because I was a re-applicant, applied 10/14/15. Good luck to whoever is good enough for CBS since I'm clearly not who they want.

Quick question, I just submitted my application earlier this week , and I notice a grammatical error. When I changed plan to goals, I forgot to change the verb. Should that be concern about that? cause all the adcom will see is "goals was" .

Anyone submitted on or around 10/6 and still waiting to hear back from CBS? I am not sure what's really going on with my application. I see that everyone who submitted after me has seen results :/

Don't lose hope - I recently met with an admitted student who was dinged twice. Reassess your application, and then apply for J-term as early as possible next year if you want - you'll be graduating at the same time.

Weird. I wonder if there is something about the 10/6 date. haha.

I called them today and Susan from ADcom told me that we should not expect to hear back before January now. Chances are minimum.. sigh

I see that you have a Wharton Admit, is CBS still in the race or are you pretty clear on matriculating at Wharton?

I'm probably gonna matriculate at Wharton, but would feel great to have a CBS admit lol.
