Hi, there
I'm sorry if this question is out of topic, but can I ask about choosing between NTU and NUS MBA?
I've tried to search the forum but cannot find any detailed answer
My hope for post-MBA job is to continue in banking industry
I just got an admit from NUS today and from NTU a month earlier
totally different programs: 2 years NUS vs 1 year NTU for a start...
Not 100% correct.
NUS program is quite flexible. You can complete it in 1 year though the standard program is 16 months.
There is a huge difference between the student profile in both the institutes. NTU prefers candidates in the mid/late twenties. Doesn't consider any 30+ profile.
Similarly, the acceptance rate in NUS is less than 10% (the only other institute around the globe that has similar rate is Havard - If you ignore IIMA)
In Singapore, NUS is rated much higher than NTU for most programs including MBA.
I personally don't like NTU that much, it feels like an Indian Government University - in terms of its processes, infrastructures , etc (I travel a lot to NUS as it's one of our customers for some electronics products and have attended many Industry related seminars )
