Hello!
Let me cut to the chase - I think you should retake the GMAT. You've only taken it once and schools will always accept the highest, you still have plenty of time to retake before Round 1 deadlines, and your current score is below average for the schools that you list. So yes, I would give it another shot. Another ~20 points could help a lot. Focus on verbal.
Now keep in mind that even with a higher GMAT your chances at H/S/W are still going to be quite low -- they just are for pretty much every applicant. So make sure you have a range of schools on your target list.
Otherwise, your work experience seems very strong, I like the promotion and the team lead experience. I think making a switch from operations to marketing is doable, especially if you aim to stay within consumer goods. Are there any opportunities to gain exposure to marketing now? Perhaps working on a cross-functional project with the marketing division, or any professional development opportunities outside of work? That could help to make your case stronger.

Implemented some critical cost saving projects for the company
Got promoted in 2014 august .
Second Role : Category Occupational Safety and environment manager , personal care ,South Asia ( India, bangladesh, nepal, Srilanka and Pakistan ) ,responsible for a total of 14 Personal care sites .
My question is, should I be actually thinking of applying with this score in schools such as Harvard, wharton, Stanford , Kellogg, Sloan,Booth, Yale, Columbia? Do I have a chance ?? or should I re-take the Gmat and try for a better score. if yes , what score should i ideally be targeting ?
Also, as you can see, i have always been in operations but post my Mba, i want to get into marketing .how bright are my chances to get through colleges which are famous for MBA in marketing .
I m also looking for financial aid.Would it be possible for me to get any , with the current profile & score
