As advised above, go with the 740. Wish you all the best with your applications!
Okay so I didn't do what all of y'all recommended and I went for the retake. Don't judge me but I simply can't get enough of the GMAT. In reality I had scored a 760 in a couple mocks and really wanted to have no questions on any score but I got a 730 in my retake and now have a difficult question I would really appreciate all of your input on
I scored 10 points lower but my highest quant yet (I come from a
very non quant background) and fixed IR problem.
730 Q48 V42 IR7
So all in all my two predominant scores are (in order of taken):
740 Q47 V45 IR 2
730 Q48 V42 IR 7
Any tips on how I should submit one or two of these? I imagine schools see the date they were taken so I'm afraid to do the 740 AND the 730 and they see I actually went down 10 points (though higher in Q by 1) though I had a month extra to prepare.
In case you're wondering "Redfield, champ, what happened on your verbal?". Fun story, my computer crashed in the middle of the test and it took them close to an hour to fix it so by the time verbal was finishing I was more drained than I had anticipated and I must have made a silly mistake somewhere.
So would really appreciate input, stick with the 740, just do the 730, or submit both even though the score went down 10 because IR and quant went up?
