ieGAT: Information.

I took ieGAT yesterday.

Before the test i looked for information on the test and couldn't find it anywhere. So I am making a post for future seekers. Also i didn't know which forum to put this in so, i am posting it in as my experience.

Imp:- Bring a couple of pencils, sharpeners and a calculator. This is a paper test and you have to mark your answers on an answer sheet by coloring in correct choice.

It is a 80 min test (no break). There will be questions in three formats, you can check sample of those on the website. https://www.ie.edu/iegat-masters-admission-test/.
You will be given some practice questions before starting and explained answers if need be.

Then before you begin test you can take a break for bathroom or...

There will be 60 questions. you have to attempt to solve as much as you can. you are allowed to leave questions. BUT accuracy is VERY important as there is negative marking for wrong questions.

There will be 4 economic articles with verbal and numerical information. there would be tables or charts..so on. you would have to comprehend the information in order to solve the questions. Each article will be followed by 9 questions, a mixture of verbal comprehension and numerical reasoning. and you would have to select correct answer from 4 options.
In some questions there can be more than one correct answers, generally in verbal section.

24 questions will be of Logical abstract reasoning. Now this is a new one. Here you are given a series of diagrams. Large ones are like noun, doing or receiving actions. small figures are like verbs, representing a particular action. There will be 8 such question stem and 3 questions per stem.

The result would not be shared until you submit the application and you to do that withing 30 days of the test.
If you submit after 30 days then the score is not valid anymore and then you have to return back to GMAT.
And you can take this test only once.
