Wow
banerjeeankush99, you have a very interesting and impressive profile! Whether you apply to Indian schools or universities abroad, you will definitely get browny points for diverse experiences and perspectives. Your extracurriculars are also strong and schools such as ISB will value your athletic and writing accomplishments.
One thing that I'm missing from your post is the information about your career goals. What do you want to do Ankush? And how do you think an MBA/PGDM will help you get there? All the schools will ask you/ want to know that. Having a good profile is a good start but you get in only when you are able to convince the admissions team that you need to attend their school to reach your goals.
Regarding GMAT, I'd say aim for at least 700. It is not impossible to get in with a lower score (I helped an Indian student with 650 get into ISB this past year) but you will be safer if you reach 700. Also, with that score you might be able to get some scholarships.

Even though one should aim for the stars, please tell me how much should I aim for as a decent GMAT score for the Indian Schools.
Also, is it possible, realistically speaking, that with my background, I can get into a top American school. What should be my target gmat score then (yes, I know, you will say, 'maximum', but still, keeping my profile in mind, what would be considered a good gmat score?)
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you
