Yes, I had multiple issues with the free-text fields on the app. I believe it was on the awards section (or another section that had multiple free-text fields) that it would only save it if I entered one field at a time. Also, your PDF proof will not list all of the free-text fields when you export it.


I was pretty disappointed with the technical issues in Chicago's online application as well.
1) Several of the short answer prompts did not state character limits in the prompt but there was actually a limit on the number of characters you could enter. I had written out answers in Word and had to cut my responses to these significantly when I tried putting them in online because it wouldn't take my whole response. It would have been nice to know the limits upfront.
2) One of the questions lets you put in a large amount of text but the PDF proof at the end cuts everything but the first few lines of the response. It wasn't clear whether admissions would be able to see the rest of your answer so I ended up significantly cutting down that answer when I caught the issue on the PDF proof at the last minute.

Really hope they fix these issues to not cause confusion to applicants.

Considering they send invites out all the way up to October 14th, when do you all think that the first invites will be sent?

A California native from Goldman Sachs, Jenny Dunn came to Booth with a goal to transition into consulting post MBA. In preparing for her career shift, Jenny took advantage of all of the resources Booth has to offer. She found that some of her most meaningful experiences were actually outside the classroom. Student clubs such as Chicago Women in Business, Business Solutions Group, and Management Consulting Group were integral in providing real world practice even before going to her summer internship at BCG. And, being a college varsity athlete, Jenny also made a lot of lasting friendships while playing in Booth’s Cohort Olympics.

Last year, they sent invites out until October 16th. Based on the thread, it seems the first invites went out October 8th, 6 working days before the deadline. Assuming the same thing holds, I'm speculating it starts October 6th for this year

Last year, they sent invites out until October 16th. Based on the thread, it seems the first invites went out October 8th, 6 working days before the deadline. Assuming the same thing holds, I'm speculating it starts October 6th for this year

I was under the impression that interview invites extend through the halfway point of the submission due date (9/22) and results date (12/8) which would take you out thorugh October 30- am I misunderstanding this?
