The GMAT scores of those invited to interview on these forums is so high...what is that like a 760 average?

*Came out to a 762 average as of now* What on Earth...

Is booth finished with their invites? :(

or is friday the last day?

After HBS, this is so demoralizing.

I doubt they are done. I'd expect invites to roll out until Friday.

Believe they're still rolling - received my invite at 10:46am CST as well. It seems based on the two days this is being done in batches if I'm not mistaken.

Know of those who received invites on Friday last year however so it really is in fact rolling

Given yesterday and today, my educated guess is that they are sending two batches per day, morning and early evening. Still plenty of hope until you officially get the ding :)

This is an old article (2011), but it may provide some insight:
"...Typically, 30% of the applicants make the first round deadline. Some 60% of the applications flow into the second round, while the remaining 10% will make the third round cutoff..."
https://poetsandquants.com/2011/02/14/wh ... ago-booth/

I've seen this quote pop up on multiple sites, but its veracity is highly questionable:
"A former Booth admissions committee member even admitted that the school accepted 65 percent of first round applicants."
https://poetsandquants.com/2013/07/28/wh ... -apply-in/

If you combine the two tidbits and make some analytical leaps, I think we're still going to see a ton of invites roll out over the next two days. I have also noticed that the no-brainer applicants based on GPA/GMAT have represented a large bulk of the early invites on this site. Wishful thinking can be fun. :)

Dated but very interesting data points, thanks for sharing. And best of luck at your HBS interview! Hopefully we both get a positive outcome over the next 2 days from Booth.

Can we expect invites today as well?

Last year, nobody posted receiving an invite on the second last day.

Lots of dings on the last day, so don't want to play my odds then. Hopefully some today!

And only 7% of users have been invited to interview vs. around 45% last year. So I'm guessing a lot of invites to go out.

I read somewhere lot of invites go out on the last day as well. Also no invites went on Columbus day this year but several did last year. No real extrapolation possible. We've just got to wait and see till 6 PM CST tomorrow. Atleast there's company

True, also there were 2 slots on the Wed last year, only one this year (yesterday).

The only thing I can deduce is that there have been less invites sent this year vs. the same stage last year. Could be anything.
