Hi,

I completed my under graduation in India(National Institute of Technology Calicut) CGPA 9.05/10 (2nd in the Department).
I wrote my GMAT and got 660 (Q51 V28).
I have 30 months of exp in RIL Petroleum refinery(Largest refinery in the world).

I want to shift my field to finance.
So can you suggest me what are the good universities i can aim at.
I am right now thinking abt
Frankfurt School of Finance and Management
Grenoble Ecole de Management

Please suggest me some other schools and review abt these two schools

Hi Bhargav,

Do you have any more specific thoughts about what you intend to do in finance? When you are frame your SoP and write about your career goals, you would be expected to have more clarity on that part.

Secondly, what is your work experience at RIL related to? Are you doing something in finance? B-schools like applicants to connect the dots, so I'd like to gain more clarity over how your substantial work experience so far is going to be relevant in a finance related career.

Also, I don't track the GMAT scores for MFin courses, but I can give you a general advice over here- the closer your GMAt score is to the Program's class average (or above it), the more likely will be your chances of an interview/admit (unless you have a truly exceptional profile).

Feel free to share your resume with me.

Lot of posts not answering the OP's question.

Class rank is good, GMAT is so so.

I think you'd find the top EU and UK programs to be difficult with those stats. Frankfurt would be a good option. Some of the Spanish programs would be good to look at (Barcelona, ESADE). You could look at some UK programs (Imperial, Warwick, Manchester, Lancaster, etc). I'd talk to the career office and see which programs have good connections in London as that is going to be your main career focus. Also, think about which programs are well respected back in India. There is a chance you will have to work in India and you want a brand and program that will help you there as well.
