\(550=275*2=25*11*2=5*5*11*2=5^2*11*2\)

Different prime numbers are 5, 11 and 2.

Sum=5+11+2=18

Ans: "E"

550= 5^2+2+11=18
The prime factors are 5, 2 and 11 therefore the answer is E.

different prime factors of 550 are 2 , 5, 11

=> sum of prime factors = 2+5+11 = 18

Answer is E.

We need to find the sum of the different positive prime factors of 550?

550 = \(5 * 10 * 11\) = \(2 * 5^2 * 11\)
=> Sum of prime factors of 550 = 2 + 5 + 11 = 18

So, Answer will be E
