Calling Chicago GSB 2008 applicants

Rhyme, do ya know when they start sending out interview invites for R2 ? I know that for R1 people had a good idea that the invites were going to start appearing from October 31st.

As from here:

They end February 20, 2008, so if it follows the same pattern, invitations will start around 2 weeks before. I was invited 2 days before the mid decision deadline and still got into, and from what I saw on round 1 there is no correlation whatsoever between the date invitations were sent and admissions.

Got an email from Chicago GSB that interview invites will go out from January 30th to February 20th.

There are more reported applicants here than there are on the BusinessWeek forums.

Mid decision date is 20 Feb....

Does chicago ever give an interview waiver?

Not that I've ever heard of.

I'm holding my breadth with you guys too, albeit for different reasons. Tonight at 6pm, I find out if I made the closed list for 2 more top consulting firms, and although consulting isn't my primary target, I must say, I do find myself, what's the word... i don't know, lets say, I find myself invested... Well see. I'm 98% sure one of them is a no-go, the other I am counting on.

See, I mentioned "joy" first (because I am an optimist ), "sorrow" second (because I am a realist )



Rhyme, with your karma on GMATClub, I expect many dozens of good people rooting for your success (count me in!), so, you should have really good chances with these firms!

awwwwwww yea... I got invites to 2 / 3 big name consulting firms... and I got 2 more I really wanted, including an awesome awesome awesome role in corporate... I can't wait... (or well, yes I can, I'm nervous, but wooooooooooohooooooooooo!!)
