Ans : C.

profit per dollar of sales for
pharma company = 40/20 = 2.0 .
and , chemical = (100-40)/(100-20) = 60/80 < 2.0 .

so the option C can be properly inferred.
for rets of the options we don have adequate information.

Same explanation as above!

Pharma accounts for 20% sales and 40% profits and the chemical industry accounts for the rest => chemical ind = 80% sales and 60% profits.

Per dollar - Pharma = 40/20 = 2.0
Per dollar - Chemical = 60/80 < 2.0

Hence C
