PR Scoring Error? [#permalink] New post 24 Aug 2005, 19:53
Is there something wrong with Princeton Review test scoring?

I tried a couple of PR test and get roughly the same score, even though my results are different.

PR1: Q41 with 10 wrong answers, V30 with 13 wrong answers
PR2: Q41 with 5 wrong answers, V29 with 14 wrong answers

How come the Q score is the same even though I have 50% less wrong questions in the second test?

Another question is, I am scoring lower on PR tests compared to Kaplan tests, even though I'm seeing that everybody else breezes through PR and getting 700s. Any idea? I'm just not liking the trend here :)

Thanks in advance.

Don't worry about their scoring,

The purpose of those tests is to practice the test pressure and to see the procedure of an adaptive test.

They probably lower your score, so you will think that you have to take one of their GMAT courses.
