Hi friends,

I am planning to give my exam in one month and getting nervous about my verbal score as it is not coming up to my expectation. I want to score 710+.
I had following score in various exam and would like to have your opinion on what should I expect from my final GMAT
veritas quant(45-51) verbal(27-33)
manhattan quant(47-51) verbal(33-35)

Need help for RC and CR.

Plzzzzz reply.

Like a lot of non-natives on here, your clearly very strong at quant and not strong with verbal. Manhattan gmat verbal is not accurate. If you are scoring low 30's on that, you'll prob get in the 20s.. I was getting a 44 on manhattan verbal and got a 35 on the real test. If I were you, I would keep up quant by taking gmat club tests and reviewing them but spending most of your time on verbal, where you need it. I hear e-gmat is very good and focused on non natives. Good luck.

Have you looked at the MGMAT SC?

I agree with the poster above that the MGMAT verbal scores are a bit inflated compared to the GMAT Prep verbal scores . Also the SC section in GMAT prep is a lot harder than the MGMAT CATs . So I'd suggest that you take a GMAT Prep test , if you want an accurate indicator of where you stand .

For RC and CR I guess it comes down more to practice and recognizing patterns more than anything else . For CR and RC just stick to the Official Guide questions , they are more than enough . However , for SC I feel the OG questions alone are not enough . There are simply not enough "meaning " based questions in the OGs . For SC , I'd recommend that you do the e-GMAT course.

Good luck !

I would suggest you take the GMATPrep. That is the best way to see where you stand. Take it upto 4 times (uninstall and reinstall while you are preparing so that way you see different levels of questions that the adaptive test will throw at you). Once done make sure you go through the GMATPrep questions available on the forum.

GMATPrep is the best indicator of your actual scores. Try taking the tests.
