Hi, I am preparing for GMAT test, mostly the end of Nov. I just ordered OG GMAT, Math, and Verbal. I checked the comments on Kaplan Math Review, stating many errors on the 6th ed. Many suggest MGMAT, 8 books. For those who took GMAT this year or currently reviewing, which resources do you think is the best approach. For 2.5 months preparation, is it enough?

What is your background? Quant career? Is english your first language?
If you feel sure start with the OG straightforward, if you feel weak start from the basics (MGMAT i.e.).
If english is not your first language read a lot, everyone's reading the economist, ft, etc. but I think any book is fine.

You have enough time, good luck.

English is not my first lanaguage. I am working on Fixed Income market with numbers. I kindly browsed the books/topics and I think I need to review the high school math and the terminology. I might need a strategy technique to answer GMAT questions. I will use one month to cover the Quant and another month for Verbal. Do you think spending ~1000 on the live review course worth it or just go over the Review books, like Kaplan and MGMAT?

thanks.

Hi - Welcome to GMAT Club.
Take a look at these two posts - they may help if you have not reviewed yet:
gmat-study-plan-for-gmat-novices-start-your-gmat-journey-80727.html
top-gmat-prep-books-guides-reviews-comments-77703.html

You should probably start with a general book such as Kaplan Premiere or PR Cracking the GMAT Cat

Also note that The Official Guide books do not contain any principles or rules, just questions, so you want to have some books to actually pick up grammar rules, refresh math concepts, etc.
