I didnt read your post in the "share your.." forum but i think you should re-do at least one more GMATPrep and jot down your mistakes and then learn those concepts inside out.
If you had seen my practice scores you wouldn't have said this...I have exhausted the GMATPreps and I need some good tests to check my progress when I start studying...Can anyone suggest some tests??
I wanted to post on your GMAT experience but then felt that some time needs to pass for the dust to settle in. Now that your post seems that are getting over the disaster, I would like to pitch in a few things.
1. Forget the GMAT for abt 2 months. Do something you are passionate abt.
2. As your post started with
"God knows what will happen this time" , I dont think you are still there mentally. Dont simply rush into this again. Its more of a balanced frame of mind that will help you score high. I know you are good at verbal. You deserve atleast 40+. But dont rush into this. Let me tell you B-schools dont like to see a multitude of GMAT scores within a short span of time.
3. I feel that the current state of mind you are in is more of an "I need the 750 come what may" as opposed to going abt in a cool and composed manner. This is also similar to a gambler betting higher when he/she is on a losing streak.
4. See some success in something other than GMAT. Build you confidence and then come back. Time away from GMAT will also help you forget GMATPrep questions and you will then have quality material to test your progress against.
These are just humble thoughts. If I have offended you in any sense, I am sorry
