Preparing for B-school? [#permalink] New post 31 Mar 2010, 01:43
I would like to get a view from people who are currently in b-school, especially from those who did not have a business degree prior to b-school. Is there any need to prepare for an MBA such as reading up on subjects etc?

My undergrad degree is in software engineering and my career has primarily been in technology consulting so I am clueless when it comes to simple business concepts such as accounting, economics etc. Obviously it's always good to be knowledgeable but seeing as I'm going to be in school for the next 2 years I wanted to enjoy my last few months :)

ps. Apologies if this has been covered in another thread, I did a quick search but didn't come across anything comprehensive.

There are various threads on this topic. Here is one of the more recent.

General consensus from students is do not worry about it, particularly if you came from a technical background.

highhopes - thanks for the link. A few people have mentioned to me to just take it easy as I will spent the next two years studying and I make just take that advice.
