Argh - I just finished a Princeton Review CAT from Cracking the GMAT...wha's my score you ask? I have no clue! The CD must be ^&&% as I just wasted 4 hours as the screen is in the hourglass think mode and spitting out program errors. So annoying. One question for anyone who has used this CD - did you get an insane number of RC's. Maybe it was a bug but I got about 10 - I am not kidding. 8 of them were just one question RC's but it was so bizarre. I think my CD is kaput? Any recommendations where I can just get the CD and not the book?

That's kinda weird. Which version of the software are you using? The 2007 book has a DVD, not CD, and the tests are online. So I'm guessing 2006, maybe? I'd bet the score is there somewhere. Ask their tech support.

I used the 2006 CD and I had some pretty weird 1 question RCs as well. But, I didn't get any error messages. I'm guessing something is wrong with your CD.

BTW, has anyone encountered 1question RCs in the actual exam?

Thanks guys. Yeah -my CD is pre-2006 for sure (I bought it off someone who took the test while bak). That explains it.

For these online CATs - how do I get access? Do I need to buy the book first or can I buy it from the PR website? I searched the website last night and didn't find them selling any CATs. Thanks.

You have to buy the 2007 Cracking book with the DVD. It gives you access to the tests online.

Still kinda weird that you're having trouble with the older ones. If they're older than 2005, though, I'd get newer tests anyway since quant is harder.
