Probabilities, Permutations and Combinations [#permalink]

Hi! I noticed that the latest MGMAT book does not have Probabilities, Permutations and Combinations. Does that mean that it is being phased out? Do I still need to study for it? Thanks! Alex

It has not been phased out. You very much need to study these topics.

Permutations, combinations & probability questions are pretty much in scope and are categorized as medium/high difficulty category. Especially when you are doing good in Quant section, GMAT will throw in such question.

It might be that the topic has not been mentioned in the book but basics must be known so that the calculations can be made easily.
