Ok- This problem is quite simple..But how do you solve this in less than 2 mins

If a postive integer n is divisible by both 5 and 7 , then n must also be divisible by which of the following ?

1. 12
2. 35
c. 70

a. none
b. I only
c. ii only
d. i and ii
e. ii and iii

I did not quite understand the question itself. must be.. is the tricky thing for me, you asked whether it can be solved within 2 minutes time, it can be if my answer is correct.
at least n should be 35, It is the LCM. if lets say n is 35 then it cannot be divided by 70 or 12. so not necessarily n should be devisible by 70 and 12 if it is divisible by 7 and 5.

any ideas?

I agree. Also got C after 10 seconds of thinking about it. Hopefully C is the right answer. 8-)

Ya C should be the correct answer.. If N is divisible by 5 And 7.. it will always be divisible by 35.. Cant say about 12 and 70...

Yes C is the correct answer. I tried subsituting values to find out if it was only 35.. There were few numbers tht 70 Was also a factor..

But I think at a min 35 has to be a factor all times works right!
