Hi guys!!!
I am facing problems while answering "Weaken the conclusion except" type questions.
Can somebody please help me with the approach?

I don't know how to attack these types of questions. Whether I need to strengthen the conclusion or what?

Please help.

Hi PrateekDua,
IMO when you face this type of question, you will be given 4 options that WEAKEN the conclusion and the answer that DOES NOT WEAKEN the conclusion. "Does not weaken" means "strengthen", "irrelevant", "out of scope", etc. whatever, which do not weaken the conclusion.

Hi,

In the Weaken EXCEPT Question,

4 options will Weaken the argument and 1 will not.

Now, NOT WEAKEN does not necessarily mean that it will STRENGTHEN the argument.

NO...
NOT Weaken implies it may Strengthen, may have no impact on the argument, may be out of scope or anything except Weakening.

Thanks,
Jai

KUDOS if it HELPED..!!! :)
