so new format of GMAT wont be of much concern when bschools consider the candiate? they will consider the score?
if i wish to it in January so that whatever studied must be useful, is it an ok decision?

I am not sure I understand your question.

The old scores will be considered just fine as will be the new ones. Integrated Reasoning is not getting introduced until June.
