I just submitted my last application and somehow I'm supposed to start working again--I guess I was supposed to be working all along...

25%-0%...then I went 0-4-1 in round 1 and really regretted it.

Sorry to hear that. I think that is everyone's worst nightmare. Did you get any apps in Rd2? If so, good luck.

You should have negative percentages. I think I was hurting productivity at work, i.e. not letting others be productive due to my lack of productivity.

Work? I've been spending so much time here lately, I accounted for the chance I might get fired.

I already wrote my resignation letter, cleaned out most of my desk, deleted personal stuff on work laptop........but I am gonna collect as many paychecks as I can before they kick me out

I am envious of y'all who can work on their apps instead of their work...

Unfortunately if I'm not at least 90% at work I may not have a job soon whether I am accepted anywhere or not.

How about a social life poll? That's what I had to sacrifice this year :( Surprised I have any friends left really ;)

yea I'm slowing down alright...both work AND social..and this is only the gmat and research.
comes fall (my application time), I think it's gonna be way crazier.

people: want to hang out tonight?
me : ugh..I can't,sorry.. not today.
ppl: are you in for snowboarding trip this weekend?
me: nuh, not this weekend. I have to take care of some stuff.
ppl: poker night tomorrow?
me: Ah my bad..I think I have to cancel that one also.

I started a new job right when I started writing applications, so I really had no choice.

The funny thing is, when I read this post, I started thinking about how I have been messing up simple tasks at work - getting dates wrong on the calendar, etc. etc...I haven't screwed up anything big, but it's funny how even the app process is starting to prepare me for the pressures of the MBA.
