Professor Tembel told his class that the method of student evaluation of teachers is not a valid measure of teaching quality. Students should fill out questionnaires at the end of the semester when courses have been completed.

Which if the following if true, provides support for Professor Tembel's proposal?

A] Professor Tembel received low ratings from his students.
B] Students filled out questionnaires after the midterm exam.

argument: current process is not valid and it would be valid if it was done at the end of the semester. The prof is implying that the problem is not with the instrument per se or the process of admisnistration but with the timing. The anser choice should support the timing argument.

agree with B. Maybe all the students did bad on the midterm, and so gave the prof a bad evaluation. its not really fair to the prof, but oh does it feel good (speaking from experience  )

The question and the given options were not really very clear. Out of all the options available B seems more reasonable as evaluating a teacher after the course sounds more effective than after the midterm.

A] Professor Tembel received low ratings from his students. [Relates to the teaching quality – hold it]
B] Students filled out questionnaires after the midterm exam. [Irrelevant when students filled the questionnaire – eliminate it]
C] Students are interested in teacher evaluation. [Eliminate it]
D] Teachers are not obligated to use the survey results. [What teachers are obliged – irrelevant]
E] Student evaluation of teachers is voluntary. [Mode of evaluation is irrelevant – eliminate it]

no one for C?

If students are "really" interested in proper evaluation, they would rather do so at the end of course than in the beginning.

A: may be Tembel is one of those who seek improvement in the system. Nothing wrong with his skills.

B: restates "indirectly" what has already been stated i.e. they don't fill at the end of course
