double concentration: Health Administration/Planning & Health Policy/Education

mba goal: I want to make a career switch to Marketing. I want to specialize in either Brand Marketing or Luxury Marketing.

prospective MBA,

I think you're doing the right things. Just keep doing them with an eye toward gaining as much leadership experience as you can both in and outside of work. But you already have a strong profile. So if I gave any advice it might be to wait a year so you can ramp up the impact even more and aim for higher schools (if you want to). You didn't mention your gender; if you're a woman that would up your odds a bit. I think you will be competitive at all 3 of these schools. I might even encourage you to apply to Kellogg (to increase your odds consider their part-time program since you're in Chicago). Other strong marketing programs you should have a shot at include Michigan, Indiana, and UNC.

Although working another year would make my profile stronger, I feel as though I'm ready for the career switch. :)
I'm interested in NYU, YALE, and CORNELL for their strong programs and b/c of their locations...
