Hi Forum Members,

I am a newbie to this forum, so please excuse me if I am posting this in the wrong section. Well, I have been planning to do a MBA from a very long time and I think it's high time for me to hit that goal. I plan to start in Fall 2012 and I am yet to take my GMAT test. I have slowly started preparing for GMAT and hope to be taking the test by Nov-Dec this year. Can someone please advise me whether my timeline is okay. I think I need atleast 5 months to prepare for the test. I am very confident in the Math, but I have lot to improve in the verbal section.

I live in the state of Michigan, so I was looking for part-time MBA programs from reputed institutions. I found a weekend program in MSU, but I was wondering what are the chances of me to get an admit.

My Education is:
Bachelor Of Engineering from India in Information Technology (2001-2005)
Master of Science from USA in Computer Science (2005-2007)

Employment History:
System Analyst(Aug'07 - Dec'08)
Database Developer/Architect(Jan'09 - Present)

I will appreciate if someone can let me know if there are any other good part-time MBA programs I should be considering.

Hello imtiazyaqoob, thanks for your question.

From what I understand, part-time programs tend to have later deadlines than their full-time counterparts. If you take the GMAT in November/December, I think you should be fine.

In terms of part-time rankings, you might find this link useful: ... ools/1.htm

Best of luck!
