Hey ack424:
Are you kidding me? Your stats are
insane - and I mean that in a good way.
The first thing to know is that I would not worry about retaking the GMAT. A 780 is not going to move the needle that much more. They already know that you came to play ball with the sheer gravity of your current accomplishments. There are plenty of smart people out there, and only a few that can really execute. You can execute and according to 4 out of 5 dentists, you're pretty smart as well.
Just get your app in for R2 at HBS, Wharton, GSB and MIT. I would also consider Columbia and Booth as backups. Do not let any studying for the GMAT slow up your app process.
The only salient piece of advice I can offer is to watch it on the goals. If anyone can pull off the entrepreneurial S/T goal it would be you, but I would leave the more entrepreneurial goals to your L/T goals. Even if you walk on water, make sure that your S/T goal is "employable." That is, a recruiter (and by proxy the adcom) will view you as able to get the job that you state as part of your S/T goal.
One more thing - did you visit any of the top b-schools I list off? While it signals to the adcom that you are serious, it is more for you. After all, you are going to dump a lot of money into a 2-year vacation. You should kick the tires a little.
