From Texas
24 yrs old, Hispanic Male
3.2 GPA from Hawaii Pacific U. in Economics (Upward trend, but one C final semester)
740 GMAT (Q48 V44)
WE: 2 1/2 years for family company. Moved home to help widowed mom run $2M construction company. This year was most successful since recession. Very good experience overall.
Goal: Consulting for elite strat firm
Extracurriculars: Not much, a little volunteer tutoring for a local charity.


Target schools: HBS, Wharton, Booth, and Columbia in that order, Rnd 2. Tuck, Darden, maybe NYU Rnd 3

Hey dude,
Looks like you have some fantastic stuff going for you. Hispanic background, Family business, SICK GMAT!!! and good (but not excellent) grades. Is it good enough for the schools you list? Maybe maybe... hard to say cause I don't have enough info about who you are, what you have done, and so on.
