Here is my profile, if you could review and make some recomendations that wouldbe great!
Age: 26 Gender: male Race/Nationality: Caucasian/Canadian
Undergrad average: overall about 78 final 2 years about 84
Work: 4 years commercial banking, great. Client facing expieriene, worked on some leverges buyouts
E/C. During undergrad organized the faculty orientation, speaker presentation, analyst with the investment club, worked between 25-40 hours a week to support myself
Currently have completed the CFA program Currently involved in managing fund raising events for local housing not for profits, asissiting high school students with business skills.. 2 weeks in china working with farmers to teach basic business skills
Concerns, bad gpa due to working during undergrad, current employer is only a regional bank, about 5 billion in assets, I selected it due t its outstanding community involvement programs however
Goals: investment banking in Nyc
Targets: Yale , Stern, Rotman, Ross,G-Town, Chicago
Though not breathtakingly impressive or unusual, your profile has some real assets that should help you: significant work in college to support yourself, your China experience, etc. Based on what you gave me I think your school list makes sense, a good mix of "safety" schools (Rotman, G-town), "competitives" (Yale, Stern), and longshots (Ross, Chicago). Hope this helps. _________________
