Work: 7 years 5 months by Sept 2012

- prior interships during university - 1 year in Denmark biotech company, 8 months in government, all IT-related

Extracurriculars: (probably weakest part of my application)
- long term mentoring of university students, colleagues, and others, Sr. industry mentor at alma mater

Goals:
- during MBA: internships and case studies in IT and social media fields, build business foundation

Thoughts?

Thanks,

David

Hi dairong,

Thanks for posting. You have a very strong candidacy. One thing I want to mention is that in addition to your phenomenal numbers, admissions teams will be focusing on your leadership experience. This is something you should discuss in your application. I recommend you read this case study of an engineer who was accepted into Columbia, Tuck, and MIT:
