Hello: I'd truly appreciate a profile evaluation. I think my analytical and problem-solving abilities could bode well in management consulting. I believe an MBA would provide a more holistic and well-rounded view of business than that afforded to me within my marketing trajectory thus far. My first GMAT was (I think) a respectable 690, but my 2.8 UGPA represents a glaring weakness. That said, I hope my positive work experience and entrepreneurial record might overcome the latter (perhaps along with a slight GMAT improvement). While Kellogg would be a dream pick, I wonder if I'd be slightly competitive for schools including USC, IU-Kelley, Georgetown, Emory -- or (stretch) UNC, Cornell, or Duke. Appreciate any/all advice - thanks!

Your GMAT score is certainly within the range at the programs that you are considering and I feel that your strong career and nearly lifelong entrepreneurial experience will be very interesting to Kellogg et.al. You sound like you have an exciting application ahead of you! If you can squeeze in another try at the GMAT in the next month or 2, it can't hurt (ie., even if the score goes down, they will use the 690, but there is a chance it can go up). Otherwise, I feel confident that you can do well in the admissions cycle if you tell your story well.
