Non H/Y/P Ivey league school: B.S. in Computer Science with a 3.54 GPA

School EC:

-ROTC for 4 years, heavily involved, selected to be Cadet Commander for 130 people at 6 schools
-TA for 3 years, started at a 200 level class, ended up at a 400 level class due to performance
-Social Fraternity, elected Vice President during sophomore year

Work Experience:

- 4 years as a Infantry Officer in the U.S Army
- spent 12 months in Iraq where I mentored an Iraqi Brigade of ~2000 soldiers; conducted 70+ combat patrols
- post deployment I was put in charge of an ambitious rehaul of our unit's knowledge management system, work is planned to be published as an Army Best Practice

Career Vision

- Post graduation work at a top-tier consulting firm (Mckinsey is number 1 choice) gaining broad industry exposure. After reaching Engagement Manager or Principal launch off into a senior management position in a firm within a sector that interests me.

I am interested in HBS, Wharton, Columbia, Sloan, Stanford, and Fuqua. My recommenders are already squared away, and will be extremely open/collaborative in the recommender process. Just trying to identify and weak-points that I should address or strengths I should emphasize given my background

As a military officer, emphasizing your leadership experience is a given.

Can't really see any glaring holes. The main thing to keep in mind is being able to show which aspects of your military experience and skills are transferrable to a civilian/business context, and which aspects are not. If you're able to provide that kind of insight based on your experiences, you should be competitive enough for all the schools you listed (not to the point where you're going to get into all of them, but that you've chosen the right range of schools where you have a reasonable shot of getting into at least 1-2 schools - it's a numbers game after a while and it's important to choose 4-6 schools to yield 1-3 acceptances).

Basically, don't screw up your application and interviews, and you should be fine.
