Hi texasexpat,

Thanks for posting. You do have a strong candidacy. Your focus right now should be on defining your personal brand, and cultivating your personal essays and recommendations to support this message.

You are a competitive candidate, but there are other qualified candidates as well; how do you differentiate yourself? Look for opportunities to do so in your essays.

In regards to your GMAT score, it is competitive. It is not something that you should be concerned about, particularly as your major at college was more quant-focused (Economics). If you believe you can improve your score by 40+ points, then perhaps you can consider taking the test again, but I would not put too much time or resources into this. Your time would be better spent on your essays and other areas of the application.
