Hi,
Gender: Male
Age: 26
Undergrad School: Cornell University
Major: Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering
Undergrad GPA: 2.83 (overall) - Due to some personal health issues during 2 semesters of College.
GMAT/GRE: Not Taken Yet (Thinking of taking the GRE)
Extra-curricular: Was part of Cornell Nano-Satellite team (worked mostly on the propulsion system of the satellite), Was involved in Cornell Entrepreneurship network and the Student Assembly Organization. In high school, came in First place in Top Company Award for the Pennsylvania Free Entrepreneurship Week.
Target Schools:
1) Columbia
2) NYU
3) Kellog
4) Harvard
5) Wharton
The school's listed are in no particular order, however, Columbia is what I would like to shoot for and I would obviously apply to other schools that are not in the top-tier category, but I've just listed the top 5 that I would like to see myself applying for.
Just briefly, I'm currently in the workforce and work for a defense contractor doing mostly Lean and Six Sigma initiatives. I'm in a leadership position and work closely with top management of the company on a daily basis to make key business and operations decisions. In this position, I've also thought classes to people in other positions about Lean and Six Sigma.
I want to focus on Entrepreneurship while pursuing MBA. I am preparing for the GRE's, however, I'm just trying to get a feel for where I stand with the stats I have and see if I should pursue this or not?
Any advice will be appreciated!
