Did you receive feedback from Tuck and Darden last year on why they did not admit you?
The most critical element of your profile is what you have done since your last application. Most importantly, can you point to times where you have been called on to truly lead, influence, drive results, or take initiative. How have you evolved since last year, what do you now offer the programs? The focus should be on the delta/difference between you today and you last year.
As you note, it would be tough to move the needle regarding GMAT given your demographic. If you have new leadership experience/perspective to speak to, my guess is that would move the needle this year further than 20 points higher on your GMAT.
In terms of programs, you’ve added programs in roughly the same tier to improve your chances, but Booth could be perceived as even slightly more competitive.
I’m still curious what last year’s feedback was.
