Hi,
I'm considering retaking the GMAT, but before I do, I'd like to get some peer advice to see if a retake is really necessary. Help would be greatly appreciated!
Demographics: 23 year old white male from the Northeast.
Undergrad: Small Northeast liberal arts school; Finance major; 3.65 GPA; Class of 2010; Finance Graduation Award, Alumni Achievement Award, Business Honors Program, scholarship athlete (hold school long jump record)
GMAT: 660 (41Q; 40V)
Work Experience: Will be 3 years upon enrollment of Fall, 2013. I work in the treasury for a large holding group (fortune 200). My responsibilities are:
- Manage global leasing portfolio (6500 leases), with over $100M of outstanding liability.
- Manage development and implementation of a company-wide budgeting system. $5M+ project.
- Assist CFO in evaluation of financial statements of potential large acquisitions in US, Asia.
Volunteerism: Large local charity organization Jan, 2012-present; Vice Chair of the Associate Board of Directors
Misc: While in undergrad, I consolidated the campus's three failing student business organizations into one large, successful organization which helps students get jobs, connect to faculty, etc. I was also EVP of the Model UN team, winning several awards at major competitions.
Target Schools:
Super Reach: Wharton (both of my bosses went here, will write awesome recs)
Reach: Duke, UCLA, USC, UNC
Other: Georgetown, Emory, BC, Ohio State
Do you think I need to retake the GMAT to even be considered for these schools?
Thanks!
