To whom it may concern,

I'd greatly appreciate your help in evaluating my profile. This is a work in progress and I also provide confirmed future changes at the end. I plan to apply in 2014 to HSB 2+2 or Stanford deferral program and other top b-schools.

I want to work in consulting for loyalty industry(a.k.a points and miles) or a start-up company that use technology to provide loyalty programs with more values than before.

GMAT: N/A
Age: 19
Demographic profile: Vietnamese/Male living in US
Education: 4th year student majoring in Management Information System ( 5 year school)
GPA: 3.7

Work experience:
1. Children Hospital of Philadelphia - Information Services Co-op (6 months)
Audit projects for project managers to be in compliance with hospital policies.
Manage a visibility project to meet regulation requirements
Coordinate and communicate with all managers hospital-wide to re-certify all employees
Develop work progress tracking system to monitor work performance
Develop security training material to train new employees and raise awareness

2. No Mile Left Behind - Blog Owner ( 1 year)
Provide travel news, tricks and hacks
Guide to luxury travel at little to no cost
Write plans for young adults to develop credit
Analyze loyalty programs
Award booking and luxury travel services - helping clients to use points and miles

3. Computer Health Solutions - Business Owner ( 2 years)
Provide IT solutions and services to 5 small businesses
Evaluate and provide customized plan for each business
Work with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008
Perform maintenance on site and remotely by Logmein Rescue

Certficication:
Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist, Microsoft Sales Specialist - Virtualization, Microsoft Office Specialist

Extracurricular activities:
1. Student Body President:
Served as liaison between student body and administration
Trained approximately 30 new senators
Manage $1.4 million student budget
Planned activities to increase student involvement on campus
2. Featured on WSJ as a young global traveling hacker - traveling 200,000 miles/year
3. Campus Activities Board: Planning student activities to enrich student life
4. Radio Amateur Club: high altitude balloon project

Loooking good so far!
Student Body President is likely the single position in college that HBS 2+2 likes the most!
Plus you have very good grades, your own business, your own blog.
Ace that GMAT and you have a REAL shot.
Nobody walks in to HBS 2+2 of course. it is SUPER competitive, and the creme de la creme all applies.
But write an amazing application, and convince them that YOU are their man.
