I want to apply to the NYU (Stern) part time mba. My GMAT score is 690 (45q,40v). My GPA is 3.4. I am a 23 year old Panamanian citizen. I have been working as an analyst in a Private Equity firm for 1 year. I want to keep working while going to school twice a week after work. Do I have a chance of getting into the part time program? Thanks.

Hi fer,

Thanks for posting. It looks like you have a strong candidacy. I do want to mention that part-time MBA programs focus more on your work experience (as opposed to test scores and undergraduate records), and you only have one year of work experience. This would be my largest concern for your application, and you will need to address why pursuing business school is the right choice for you at this time.

Cheers,

Conrad and the Stacy Blackman Team
